Tracy and Matt were married on a rainy but lovely Saturday in Long Island, New York. Tracy wore her mother’s wedding dress. Despite the rain, the day was full of love and charm.
Where to even begin? The love and happiness surrounding this day will stay with me.
Jenn & Logan decided to elope in Prospect Park, Brooklyn. They wanted their closest friends by their sides. People flew in from all over the country and geared up for what we all knew was going to be a pretty epic celebration.
One of the things that struck me the most about this day was how much Jenn & Logan wanted the day to be about their love and the love of their friends and nothing else. Everyone pitched in to make the logistics work. On the morning of the wedding, we all went with Jenn to a street side market to pick up some flowers for her bouquet. Her friends pieced them together into a beautiful handmade bouquet while she was getting ready in the hotel room. The ladies had each made flower crowns together at Jenn & Logan’s apartment earlier that day, too. Everything was simple and easy and perfect.
I have completely fallen in love with shooting elopements.
The entire weekend was an easy-going, fun, heartfelt party and that’s exactly the way it was planned. Well done, guys, and cheers!
