Where to even begin? This year has already been so inspiring. So far this year, I’ve met and worked with a ton of Atlanta creatives, met with and photographed lots of sweet couples, and I’ve even packed in a few shooting trips along the way. It’s only April, but I couldn’t be more optimistic about how this year is turning out. 2014, you rock.
I met Sarah through a photography workshop that we both attended and I’m so thankful that I did. What a sweet, sweet soul. I’ll be shooting with her a few times this year and couldn’t be more excited about it. This past weekend she asked me to fly up to Maryland and Virginia to shoot a couple of weddings with her. From one whirlwind trip from Atlanta to Baltimore, to a little town in Virginia, to D.C., I learned so much about myself. Interesting, how travel does that. I’ll be traveling a lot this year for weddings and can only hope that this feeling/growing/experience will stay with me in between and during those trips.
Jenny & Joe’s wedding in Virginia was sunny and happy and beautiful. They were married outdoors at the Inn at Westwood Farm, a beautiful little inn with tons of charm. Thanks again to Sarah Gormley for including me on this one. I feel so lucky to have been there to help tell Jenny & Joe’s story.
